The Christian Century has been around since 1884 and is the gold-standard among journals dedicated to the Judeo-Christian faith tradition. 2. Although my father devoted 30 years to researching, writing, and teaching about History at the University of Oklahoma, there was one brief moment after his service in World War II when he actually was front and center as History was being made—when the University of Oklahoma was being forced to integrate its graduate and law schools. That brief moment was examined in a 2020 book written by another OU history professor, David Levy. Levy's book, entitled Breaking Down Barriers, has already received a number of literary awards. I was privileged to publish a review of Dr. Levy's book in the November issue of the storied Oklahoma Observer, a magazine whose motto is “To comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.” Just open the link below and scroll right until you reach page 40.
